Take in the views during a short photo stop en route (along the shores of the lake or at the Lion Monument) and enjoy a brief city tour. Your tour guide will point out the main attractions of this charming town, such as the Chapel Bridge, a diagonal wooden structure dating from 1333 and featuring a series of gable paintings, the Renaissance-style town hall, the 17th century Jesuit church – regarded as Switzerland’s first baroque religious building, and the futuristic Culture and Congress Centre. You will then have some time to explore the city at your own leisure. Admire the frescoed façades and fairytale turrets of the car-free Old Town. We suggest a visit to the city walls, the Transport Museum or the Rosengart Museum, where works by the artists such as Picasso and Paul Klee are exhibited.
