The first stop is the atmospheric lighthouse at Las Playitas. Next stop is the charming village of Tiscamanita. We'll visit the Los Molinos museum where you can learn all about traditional majorero handicrafts. You'll also get a chance to try the local staple, gofio as well as other local products including bread, olive oil, tomatoes and wine. We'll drive on to the picturesque village of Pajara with its lovely church decorated with mysterious carvings, before we move on through stunning mountain scenery, heading for the former capital, Betancuria. This small settlement was founded in 1404 and was the main city on the island until the 19th Century. You'll have plenty of time to snap up some of the local handicrafts and sample some goat's cheese before we stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant.
