The Express Pass
The express pass grants priority access to the top of the Empire State Building, via the express security checks and skip-the-line access to the elevators on the 2nd and 80th floors. This option is highly recommended for visits during the summer, as well as Easter, Thanksgiving and around Christmas and New Year, as well as for any visits between 11am and 3pm or around sunset time.

Choose an exciting day and night experience which allows you to appreciate the city from the 86th floor on a 360-degree, open air observatory twice in one day! Visit this fascinating observation point both under the shimmering sun and under the stars as the sparkling city lights provide a breath-taking new perspective view on the city.
First visit is from 8am-8:59pm and the Second visit is from 9pm-1:15am or 10pm-1:15pm, depending on the day. Please check during your first visit.
Sunrise Experience
This unique opportunity allows visitors an unforgettable experience to watch the sun rise over NYC from Empire State Building’s 86th floor Observatory. Feel the city come to life while surrounded by unobstructed, panoramic open-air views. (Guest must call 72 hours in advance to reconfirm details). A limited number of sunrise tickets are available each day, making it a rather exclusive experience.
Starting time varies between 5am– 6:45am depending on the time of the year. This experience is only available on Fridays and Saturdays.
